The Math Behind the Predictions
Our prediction engine uses a proprietary algorithm that analyzes four key data dimensions:
1 Historical Rank Trajectory
We examine SSA ranking data from 2019–2023 to calculate the rate of change. For example, "Arlo" moved from #267 in 2019 to #155 in 2023 — a rise of 22 spots per year. Using linear regression, we project this momentum forward to estimate a 2030 peak rank of #14.

2 Momentum Velocity
Names accelerating faster than 15 spots/year are flagged as "rapid risers" (like Nova, which jumped 57 spots from 2020–2023). These names often reach top-10 status within 3–5 years.

3 Cultural Influence Score
Using Wikipedia's API, we count article mentions and celebrity associations. Names with >50 mentions and 10+ celebrity articles score higher for influence, correlating with a 40% higher likelihood of top-20 placement.

4 Social Ease Index
We score pronunciation difficulty (based on vowel-to-consonant ratio), spelling complexity (character length), and potential teasing probability. Names scoring 8/10+ are recommended for minimizing social challenges.
